Packages lead very schizophrenic lives because the packaging's responsibility is to "PRESERVE" the product, to "PROTECT" it in the midst of shipment. They assure to the consumer the product is not "SPOILED." Packaging exposes what the contents are & what the value might be., the PRODUCT you're looking on the shelves for, are the beginnings of the temptation of an emotional life cycle. So by walking into the store, you're either going to "embrace an old friend" or a "new temptation." We're too engulfed & enthralled by the "IMAGE" on the "PACKAGE", but what will matter most is when you get it home, it's the "PRODUCT" which become paramount.
We have tendency to disqualify everything because once you get it home, the PACKAGING doesn't matter. All you want to know if the PRODUCT works? We've become, with finite thinking, entranced by the PACKAGE, totally neglecting the PRODUCT, which leaves us as "corrupted consumers" because of what you saw on the outside, that you never investigated the inside.
They're pretty, but have no personality. They have muscles but have no mind. They dress nice, but are emotionally disturbed. They make "good paper", but their values are made out of "plastic."
Make up in your mind that in 2018, you want the TOTAL PACKAGE!
