The Last Supper: An Introduction
The Last Supper is one of several major events in the earthly life of Jesus Christ that are recorded in the Word Of God. The Last Supper is a description of the last meal Jesus Christ had with His disciples prior to His arrest and crucifixion on a roman cross about 2,000 years ago.

The Last Supper contains many significant principles, and continues to be an important part of Christian lives throughout the world.

The Last Supper: The Significance
The Last Supper is described in three(3) of the four(4) New Testament Gospels, Matthew, Mark and Luke. Here are some of the life-changing highlights, as recorded in the Gospel of Luke.

First, Jesus predicts He will suffer soon after this meal and it will be His last meal prior to finishing His work on behalf of the Kingdom of God (Luke 22:15-16). Second, Jesus gives His followers symbols of remembrance for His body and His blood sacrificed on behalf of all mankind. "And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them saying, 'This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me'" (Luke 22:19).

Third, Jesus provides a very important principle for living a Christian life: the greatest are those who serve others, not those who expect to be served (Luke 22:26). Finally, Jesus provides hope to His followers: "and I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me, so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel"
(Luke 22:29-30).

For the last two millennia, the Last Supper has inspired people to live by faith in Jesus Christ, by serving others instead of following the worldly influences of expecting to be served.

The Last Supper: The History of the Event
The Last Supper was held on the evening of preparation for the Jewish Passover, a very holy time for the Jewish nation in remembrance of when God spared the Jews from the plague of death on every firstborn child in Egypt. Jesus arranged the dinner purposely by instructing His disciples where to host it. His twelve disciples were with Him during and after the meal. It is here that Jesus makes the prediction that Peter will deny knowing Him three(3) times before the rooster crows that morning, which became true. Jesus also predicts that one disciple, Judas Iscariot, will betray Him, which also became true. The Last Supper was a gathering for Christ to fellowship with His disciples one last time prior to His arrest and crucifixion.

The Last Supper: The Application
After the Last Supper, Jesus Christ willfully and obediently allowed himself to be brutally sacrificed on a wooden cross. He did this to reconcile each of us to God by paying the debt of our sins, which we could never do on our own power. In return, Jesus makes a simple request, remember this act of love He performed on our behalf. Jesus Christ did not have to die for us. He did, however, because He values every life on earth and wants to see each of us sitting at His dining table someday in heaven. Throughout the Holy Scriptures, and throughout history, the truth of Christ's message has been established - that we can join Jesus in Heaven by acknowledging His sacrifice and accepting Him into our life. In addition, we can apply the lessons Jesus taught at the Last Supper to live a faithful life while here on earth by serving others in love. The bread is a symbol of the body of Jesus, never to be forgotten as it was given to us. The cup represents the blood of Jesus, never to be forgotten as he poured out His life for us. Jesus Christ has offered everybody the gift of His life, death and resurrection. The Last Supper reminds us of Christ's sacrifice, and that by faith in Him, we can dine with Christ for all eternity.

"D.E.B.T."- Doing Everything But Tithing

D.E.B.T.-Doing Everything BUT Tithing.

For those who don't know what debt is, debt is an amount of money borrowed by one party from another.

Debt is used by many corporations and individuals as a method of making large purchases that they could not afford under normal circumstances.

A debt arrangement gives the borrowing party permission to borrow money under the condition that it is to be paid back at a later date, usually with interest.

Some common-sense rules can help individuals avoid D.E.B.T -- at least the level of D.E.B.T. that cannot be repaid when due:

Pay with cash whenever possible.

Stay within your spending limits.

Avoid impulse purchases.

Avoid "buy now, pay later," "interest-free financing" and like offers that merely postpone debt.

Compare prices before making major purchases.

Take only the cash with you that you can afford to spend while shopping, and spend only that cash.

Avoid borrowing to finance "staple" purchases.

If you cannot avoid borrowing, use the lender that offers the lowest interest rate.

Avoid bank overdraft charges by keeping close tabs on bank balances.

Keep a record of all credit card purchases.

Always pay more than the minimum payment on credit card bills if possible.

Avoid applying for more than one or two credit cards at a time

Consider transferring balances to a lower rate card, making sure the low rate applies to balance transfers.

Avoid credit cards that charge interest from the date of purchase with no grace period as well as cards that charge interest immediately on a cash advance, plus charge a fee for each cash advance.

A "Cautious Debtor" is defined as one who avoids entering into D.E.B.T.. A "Cautious Debtor" is careful and strategic when incurring D.E.B.T, and always repays D.E.B.T.

Here are seven (7) things to consider before D.E.B.T overwhelms you:

1. Repays D.E.B.T. and does so promptly

A. Psalm 37:21-"The wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous give generously"

B. Proverbs 3:28-"Do not say to your neighbor, "Come back later; I'll give it tomorrow"--when you now have it with you"

2. Avoid the bondage of D.E.B.T

Proverbs 22:7-"The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender"

3. Recognize D.E.B.T. presumes on your future

James 4:13,14- "Now listen, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.' Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes."

4. Realize D.E.B.T. can foster jealousy and greed

Luke 12:15-"Beware! Don't be greedy for what you don't have. Real life is not measured by how much we own"

5. Give and pay what you owe

Romans 13:7-"Give everyone what you owe them: pay your taxes and import duties, and give respect and honor to all to whom it is due."

6. Be careful about co-signing

Proverbs 22:26-27(NLT)-"Do not co-sign another person's note or put up a guarantee for someone else's loan. If you can't pay it, even your bed will be snatched from under you."

7. Realize D.E.B.T will impact spiritual development

Galatians 5:22-23-"The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithful, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law."

The Benefit Of Black Seed

Black seed oil is also known as black cumin oil. It has a long history of many uses, from enhancing the flavor of certain dishes to holistic wellness. The seeds are a traditional Middle Eastern spice used in pastries, dairy products, salads, and other foods. And for thousands of years, the oil has been both applied topically and consumed for a wide variety of health conditions, from bruises, bad hair, colds, and snake bites to headaches, indigestion, and a variety of skin rashes.
This is due to the presence of Phytochemicals.

1. What Are Phytochemicals?

Understanding why black seed oil benefits the body in this way means understanding how its three key natural chemicals: thymoquinone (TQ), thymohydroquinone, and thymol, enhance the physical state. These are called Phytochemicals, and they are a powerful triple threat. In lab studies, each compound showed 100 percent inhibition for the 30 pathogens evaluated. This means that a variety of different health conditions can find relief from one of the three. Working together, the phytochemicals can help treat symptoms of different conditions while they help heal and nourish the body.

2. Helps Fight Cancer

The phytochemicals in black seed oil have been demonstrated to help naturally treat cancer, acting against the unhealthy tumor cells. Black seed oil also contains antioxidant properties, which are known to have cancer-fighting properties. These compounds work by balancing the population of free racial molecules in the body. A study of 90 obese women found that adding black seed oil to a low-calorie diet produced more weight loss than the diet alone, and reducing their risk factors for diabetes. This is believed to indicate that black seed oil reduces the "hunger hormone" ghrelin and increases the production of the hormone leptin, which signals the brain that your stomach is full. Naturally regulating the appetite can help those on reduced calorie diets eat less without cravings. In addition, the blood sugar stabilizing properties of black seed oil help avoid the peaks and crashes that lead to cravings.

6. Protects Skin

To prevent scarring from a minor cut, some physicians suggest applying black seed oil topically once the cut has started to heal. Avoid doing this when you have an open wound, but once it starts to heal, apply the black seed oil to make sure it heals properly. For those with allergic reactions on the skin and eczema, black seed oil can help alleviate the itching and reduce the redness and irritation on the skin when applied topically.

7. Promotes Strong

Shiny HairApplying black seed oil to your scalp may have benefits for your hair, too. It contains an antihistamine called nigellone, which has been demonstrated to help with androgenic alopecia or alopecia areata. These conditions result in hair loss. Black seed oil may help the scalp 's health, reduce inflammation, and increase the strength of the hair follicles. In addition, the skin-calming effects may ease the itching and flaky skin of dandruff.

8. Combats MRSA

Black seed oil has an unusual ability to fight bacterial infections, even drug-resistant ones such as MRSA. This is a staph infection that is resistant to traditional antibiotics. Black seed oil is naturally anti-microbial and antibacterial, which helps treat MRSA infections. Because black seed oil is a natural antibiotic, rather than manufactured, it can respond even when strong superbugs adapt to traditional medicine. Lab studies have shown that all strains of MRSA are vulnerable to N. sativa, a compound in black seed oil.

9. Enhances Fertility

Black seed oil is a traditional treatment for male infertility, and a study found that it is, indeed, effective. In test studies of men with fertility problems, the oil significantly improved sperm count and other fertility markers. Several other scientific studies have indicated that black seed can positively influence sperm production, semen, enhance the health of the reproductive organs, and regulate sexual hormones. Before choosing black seed oil as a fertility treatment, however, talk to your physician. It is not necessarily a libido booster.

Subject studies have shown that regular consumption of black seed oil can help lower LDL cholesterol - the bad cholesterol - in the bloodstream while naturally allowing the HDL cholesterol - the good kind - to rise. This is good news for those with high blood cholesterol, as their risks of heart disease, strokes, and heart attacks can be reduced as their LDL levels are reduced.

Grace and Peace from God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ!

I have pulled together some of my favorite bible verses to encourage you along your "Kingdompreneurial" journey.. Running your small business is a spiritual journey as much as a road trip to business success. Along the road, you will be tested, stretched and stressed and these words from the Word of God will give you needed encouragement.

This is my first year of writing bible verses every Kingdompreneur( small business owner) needs, and I want you to share the bible verses with me in the comments section. I want my life to be better by your inspiration.

My theme inspired from the Word of God for the year is Jeremiah 29:11-13, so many of you shared this verse and when I read it I felt so encouraged. Many of us who run a business can feel like a one-armed wallpaper hanger at times and it’s easy to become too busy or tired and forget to pray. This verse keeps me grounded, and I hope it does the same for you.

Jeremiah 29:11-13 (NIV) “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.  You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” In order to have a successful business, you must trust in the Lord. God’s will is what is best for us. There will be times when you do not understand why things are happening in your business, but God is always trying to teach us and protect us.

Romans 8:18 (NIV) “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” One of the things my Grandmother(Nanny) used to say to me growing up was, “You wouldn’t know good days, if it weren’t for bad days. So you need to thank God for bad days too.” Often in business when we don’t close a sale or get a contract that we invested a lot of time in, we take it personally. Start thinking about things in your business differently. When you don’t get a contract, it’s because it wasn’t meant for you. In some cases, God might have been protecting you from A NIGHTMARE CLIENT.

Exodus 35:35 (NIV) He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers—all of them skilled workers and designers. God has given all of us talents that we can sell, but that doesn’t mean you should start a business. Make yourself a student of business, first. Make sure there’s a paying client for your product or service. Develop your business and leadership skills so that you can turn your talent into a real business.

Psalm 37:4 (NIV) Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Always remember who you are and who you are in Christ. We are not defined by our bank accounts or by how many plaques are on the wall. Never hesitate to share your testimony with others about what the Lord has done for you in business. God wants us to be fine examples of his LIGHT and LOVE.

Joshua 1:8 (NIV) Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.  The most important thing you can do for your business is pray daily. Start each day in meditation and prayer and you will stay calm as the day’s struggles come upon you. Read words from the Word of God to stay encouraged and balanced.

Proverbs 16:3 (NIV) Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. Whenever you have doubt, go to the Lord in prayer and wait on God to give you the answer. Remember that He speaks to us through visions and dreams, and sometimes He will send people who will speak His words to you.

Isaiah 45:3 (NIV) I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, who summons you by name. There is no such thing as luck, only blessings sent from God. When the unexplainable happens, do not be fooled that you did anything to make them happen. Always remember that God has already prepared a place for you to succeed and to learn.

Titus 3:14 (NIV) Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order to provide for urgent needs and not live unproductive lives. God helps those who help themselves. If you do nothing, nothing will happen. Focus your activities each day on trying to accomplish five (5) things before 11a.m. daily. You will feel less stress and get a lot more done each day.

Psalm 37:5-6 (NIV) Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. There will be times in your life when no one will think that you are going in the right direction with your business. But no one can stop God’s anointing. If He gave you the idea for your business, He will bless it. Stay faithful and focused. When you think you have no more to give, give some more and you will be rewarded.

Isaiah 54:2-3 (NIV) Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities.You do not need to wait until you are rich and super successful to help others. You should help others now as you are building your business. Now, that does not mean you should go hungry to help others, but do not be afraid to enlarge your tent to partner with “so called” competitors. There really is enough business for everyone.

Romans 8:38-39 (NIV) For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. No matter what you do, God loves you. He will forgive you. He believes in second chances and hundreds more, if you need them. Be quick to forgive and pray for a forgiving spirit. How would your life change if you loved unconditionally?

2 Corinthians 2:14 (NIV) But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere. Be thankful that you know God for all of his goodness. God wants us to be fine examples of his light and love.

Deuteronomy 30:16 (NIV) For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess. Walk in God’s ways and He will bless your business ventures.
