 Matthew 16:19(NIV) -I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be[a] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[b] loosed in heaven.” I wanted to share with you what I called the craziest way to download a NEW VERSION of software. My wife, Altanya Gerald Burgess and I got up this morning and it had appeared her Iphone had update to the new sofware, the IOS 7 I believe(I am no Geek Squad Alum) andher phone was able to receive all of the updated software. While my phone was hooked up the desktop..I attempted to download the new software to my Iphone. Needless to say, it was able to download ITunes, but it was unable any of my contacts(all 400 of them) and all of my apps. I had a human moment..My wife, of course, who is so sweet and caring, made me some cinammon tea(from scratch ya'll) to calm my nerves. My phone had actually looked as if it had gone to glory with a picture of downloading Itunes and a picture of the cord at the bottom..It would have been a shame to know some you have lived with, done ministry with, done business with, had died as a result of a faulty download into their system and all you had to show for it was "I"-Tunes. I immediately got myself together, dropped off Altanya and went to Iphone Heaven, The Apple Store..I went to the ALTAR(The Customer Service Desk) and asked if I could have some HELP..It's good to know even when there are large crowds among you..The only focus of the worship experience with their Phone is to make sure everything they came for is properly DOWNLOAD, UPDATED and all DATA has been BACKED UP in ICloud(Matthew 16:19)..I saw there were plenty of people their with a variety of ISSUES so not everyone there was coming for the same thing, but they all had something in common...The were all in ONE PLACE waiting on something AWESOME to happen(Acts 2:1). A representative walked over to me by the name of Ben and asked me how he could help. I explained what the situation was..so he immediately took my phone and attached it to something that had a little more POWER than what my computer was offering..I guess sometimes, you have to come out of your comfort zone and go someplace to see if they offer just a little MORE POWER than what you've been getting. Ben said it would take a few minutes and the original display will appear on the phone..I was such in awe by his statement for the fact..God will have to take you back to the original display when you've allowed a faulty download from somewhere to enter into your SOFTware(Spirit, Soul, Body). I tried recover all of my information, which was backed up on ICloud..but I had to wait until I went back to the place of where I left everything STORED! But what was profound was each time I looked at the screen..it kept saying two things, "RESTORE" and "RECOVER"..Anything you may have thought you lost along the way, due to a faulty DOWNload, all you have to do is get connected with someone who has ALL POWER and allow Him to update your SOFTware(your joy, peace, happiness, knowledge, wisdom and understand and host of other things you may need to have UPDATED) and rebuke anything that may have hindered from you receiving the UPDATED VERSION to your device, which allows you to COMMUNICATE effectively and others to be in TOUCH and in CONTACT with you......R.I.P. means Restoring In Progress..what you thought has died is in the PROCESS and in PROGRESS of being restored.. This experience taught me a lot..that what might appears to be SINKING is only SYNCHING up with God. Pastor Disguised To Meet His Church. Pastor Jeremiah Steepek (pictured to the left) transformed himself into a homeless person and went to the 10,000 member church that he was to be introduced as the head pastor at that morning. He walked around his soon to be church for 30 minutes while it was filling with people for service, only 3 people out of the 7-10,000 people said hello to him. He asked people for change to buy food - NO ONE in the church gave him change. He went into the sanctuary to sit down in the front of the church and was asked by the ushers if he would please sit n the back. He greeted people to be greeted back with stares and dirty looks, with people looking down on him and judging him. As he sat in the back of the church, he listened to the church announcements and such. When all that was done, the elders went up and were excited to introduce the new pastor of the church to the congregation. "We would like to introduce to you Pastor Jeremiah Steepek." The congregation looked around clapping with joy and anticipation. The homeless man sitting in the back stood up and started walking down the aisle. The clapping stopped with ALL eyes on him. He walked up the altar and took the microphone from the elders (who were in on this) and paused for a moment then he recited, “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ 'The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ After he recited this, he looked towards the congregation and told them all what he had experienced that morning. Many began to cry and many heads were bowed in shame. He then said, "Today I see a gathering of people, not a church of Jesus Christ. The world has enough people, but not enough disciples. When will YOU decide to become disciples?" He then dismissed service until next week. Being a Christian is more than something you claim. It's something you live by and share with others. Ecclesiastes 11:1-4: In the world of computer technology, The Norton Anti-Virus computer software company released and anti-virus software mechanism, which is downloaded on most computers today. The most interesting thing about this invention is it is designed to do only ONE THING: TO STOP POP-UPS! Pop-ups(for those who are unaware) are unsolicited advertisements which show up on your screen which you haven't asked for. All the more annoying, the "POP UPS" show up more often than not, at the workplace. Pop Ups, aka "Weapons of Mass Distractions", They usually on the job than at the house. The intention of the POP-UP is to "take you off your focus and to expend your energy on something else. POP-UPS can be quite relentless if you haven't release an "ANTI- VIRUS"(Anti means to be against). They are relentless because when you cancel one, another shows up. It's interesting because that's the exact same way demonic WARFARE works. As soon as you're able to cancel one assignment against you, one lie, one issue, one dilemma, one argument..another decides to show up unannounced..er go..POP UP! The sad part is when you cancel them, their ADVERTISEMENTS become larger & larger & larger, which now turns into a fight between you & the POP UP. So now, you have to brace yourself because at any moment, a POP UP can show up at work, at the church, at the mall, at the house, waiting for you in the parking lot, which now keeps you from being focus on your goals, your assignment, your task, because you've been forced to wage war on "something" or "someone" you do not want that's trying to get your attention. Beloved, when people decide to POP UP into your life, who were not there when you were struggling, when you were on your last dollar(the worst is to be with someone & they still not be there with you), but now since you are rebuilding your life, rebuilding your family, rebuilding your aspirations, rebuilding your vision, now the "POP UPS" what you to come hang with them. When the "POP UPS" couldn't help or support you at ground level, celebrate yourself midway, knowing you're that close to your destiny. Use discernment to know the difference between a unwelcomed guest and a surprised visitor. Wait with expency(expect and SEE) for a PLEASANT SURPRISE from God when He POPS UP in your finance, in your house, on your job, in your ministry, on your business. In 2013, some things were unwelcomed in your life, but in this next season, God says, "The next time you go to the door, it's going to be the prayer you' ve been praying about and it's going to POP UP into your situation.
