I want to let you in on a little secret with you. Growing up as a kid, Batman was one of my all-time favorite shows.. I watched it on Channel 11 WPIX after school every day.
My Mom would go to the store every ear, around Halloween(before Salvation) and buy me the Batman costume. The banister on our staircase was the bat poles and my Big Wheel was the Bat mobile. The utility belt, the Batrope(climbing my grandmother's tree in the backyard). I was serious Y'all.
I have had the opportunity of seeing ALL of the Batman episodes on television(With Commissioner Gordon, Chief O'Hara, The Joker, The Penguin, The Riddler, Mr. Freeze, King Tut, Cat-woman, The Bookworm, Egghead, Falseface, Zelda the Great, The Mad Hatter, The Archer..etc) , as well as tracking his character in the Movies(George Clooney, Val Kilmer, Michael Keaton) As I got older, I have been studying this character..and asking the question, "Why I am so intrigued by this TV Series, as well as this character?"
But there is something interesting about Batman I want to share with you. He has all of these gadgets for every situation. But when I have watched him movie after movie after movie after movie, I have discovered that some of his resources have CHANGED, except for one. Some movies Robin played in, some movies there wasn't. Others there was Batgirl, others it wasn't. So after careful discovery, I found it what his real success was. Batman's success was not in his utility belt, his Batcave or his Batmobile. His real success was ALFRED. Why is that? (I'm glad you asked) Because ALFRED is the only one who knew how to handle BATMAN and Bruce Wayne at the same time.
I said all of this to encourage someone that you need to have more "ALFRED'S" in your life, who know how to handle you with your "CAPE ON" and when you have your "CAPE OFF" If you have ONE friend in your life that knows how to handle you when you're UP and knows how to handle you when your DOWN, when you're IN and when you're OUT..Anointed and not anointed...You are a truly blessed somebody. But the real test is how people treat you while you're on your way to a Castle(Wayne Manor) even if your situations(past & present) has you confined to a cave(the Batcave).
Real Friends will come to your CAVE without coveting your CASTLE. When you're UP, they're all around you, but when you're DOWN, you can't find them. Stay connect those who know how to minister to your dignity even in a deflated time.
David was anointed to be KING 3 times...but he didn't have a convocation or a consecration service. His call as King was confirmed by the distressed, the depressed and the discontented, who came to him in a CAVE. Sometimes who you think are the WRONG people are actually the ones coming with the RIGHT confirmation.
God will not only send people to care for you as a person but He will send people to confirm your potential. You have a CASTLE anointing even if you're currently in a CAVE atmosphere.
